Pocket Vistas Jury

The Mobile Photography Awards and the BMFA Arts Centre are pleased to introduce our jury for the Pocket Vistas exhibit.

Finn Beales and Paul Moore are two of the most celebrated landscape photographers in mobile photography. Each has a unique eye for what makes an image stand out. We are thrilled to have them on our jury!

Finn Beales

Finn Beales is an award-winning photographer and director based in the Black Mountains of Wales. Finn is well known for his landscape photography on Instagram (400,000 followers.)

Finn also shoots travel and lifestyle commissions for a variety of global brands who are attracted by his cinematic, contemplative style and the narrative he weaves throughout his work.

Paul Moore

Paul Moore is a fine art photographer who began shooting photographs with his iPhone in 2009. He quickly gained a reputation in the mobile photo and arts communities as a master landscape artist. Paul is from Tullamore, a town in the midlands of Ireland, and his striking imagery of the local landscape has been exhibited in galleries across the world.

In Paul’s words, “… I have experimented with hundreds of iPhone editing apps over the years but have cut the list that I use regularly down to less than ten. I love the fact that I can take and edit photos and post to various social sites all with the one device. No matter where you go there is always a photo opportunity. The technology has certainly come a long way.”
