Street Photography

1962_Lang_4565A mobile phone is perhaps the perfect tool for the street photographer unobtrusive, light, and relatively simple to use.

The great street photographers typically used small rangefinder cameras to capture spontaneous moments and people without being noticed. Similarly, mobile photography has lent itself quite well to such methods. Whatever our tools may be, the street photographer is always an observer, looking for the decisive moment before it’s gone.

As Henri-Cartier Bresson, the father of modern street photography says…

“…Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.” HCB
