Water/Snow/Ice

Water, in all it’s forms, is an endlessly inspiring photographic subject.

From extreme macro close-ups of drips and drops, to spectacular wide shots of the sea, from trees covered in winter ice, to underwater photography, image makers often gravitate to water.

There is a sense of wonder at how water can be immense and powerful and yet tiny and simple at the same time.

This category is open to images with elements of water, liquid, etc…in all its shapes and sizes.
